The solid wood legs and frame are made from Oregon timber and have a sturdy laminated top and with dent resistant edge banding. The surface materials are easy to clean and very durable. We are very pleased with our purchase. The toddler desk is just the right size for my 3-year-old, with room to grow. I love that the seat is attached so that he doesn't tip while sitting at the computer or potentially knock it over. He loves having his own space, and has even started calling it his "office." The main reason we purchased a "computer desk" as opposed to a standard table was to have room to keep the monitor back a bit from his eyes - and it works just as we hoped. We chose the natural color and it is just as suited to our living room as our playroom. Because of the "L" shape of the desk, you need to think about where you will locate it, but it fits great into most any corner.
